How We Help

The Foundation provides sponsorships, engages in strategic partnerships, and creates new programmes. We focus on innovative projects that have multiple and long lasting benefits for their participants and for the community as a whole.

We are most effective by focusing on a small number of programmes over a period of time long enough to make a measurable difference.

Created Programmes

We design and operate innovative projects that clearly fill a community need. Once these programmes are firmly established, the Foundation turns them over to a capable operator, while maintaining an advisory and funding role. All of our created programmes incorporate contemplative elements, and are mostly aimed at helping young people find and express their authentic voices.

Strategic Partnerships

We act as a connector and facilitator, bringing people together to discover new approaches to the arts and education. In particular, we look for partnerships that offer significant leverage to all parties.

Our partners include world-renowned arts troupes, museums, universities, academies, orchestras and art educators.

Sponsorships

We make two types of sponsorships. The first is to organisations that have strong planning and execution capabilities, but are unable to fund their programmes without the Foundation’s support.

The second type of sponsorship is for new programmes that bring a greater understanding of Chinese arts to the rest of the world, or bring a fresh perspective on art from other parts of the world to China.
